The calculation of subsidies for the heating season began in October. The recalculation of housing subsidies for the citizens, who are already receiving them, continues. This was announced during a briefing by the Director of Social Welfare Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Hanna Morozyuk.
"The heating period for citizens entitled to subsidies began on the first of October. Those citizens, who have not yet applied for the subsidy, can do it at the departments for social protection at the place of residence. For those, who are already receiving subsidies, recalculation for this heating season will be done automatically", – the official informed.
If households do not use gas or electricity for heating, they may qualify for subsudies for solid fuels.
To receive government aid for payment for utility services, they only need to fill out an application and declaration of incomes received by persons registered in the household.
"All the other information required for the purpose of assignment of housing subsidies is provided by relevant organizations at the request of social welfare units", – the official said.
Today, in Transcarpathia, according to the Department of Social Welfare, 97 and a half thousand families are subsidized.
