Narodna Square is being “debarricaded”!

The "barricades revolution" on Narodna Square continues.

The protesters and their volunteer helpers are dismantling the existing barricades made of bags of snow. Because the snow has melted.

According to the protesters, Narodna Square still will remain "barricaded" – they will build fortifications with "improvised materials".

They could not replace the snow bags with bags of sawdust, as planned. To prevent this, the authorities not only blocked the way to the square. They also enforced sawmills, and no one gave protesters material for construction.

However, the barricades will be there, though they will be rather symbolic – to remind that the resistance in the region continues.

Probably, the "camp" on Narodna Square will turn into a public space not only for protests but also for educational and artistic events.
