Musical “Love Stories” will be told in the Philharmonic

This week, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic is celebrating St. Valentine’s Day. And following the variety brass band, the symphony orchestra of the Philharmonic will present its own program on the occasion of the holiday.

The collective has in its repertoire a lot of works inspired by the eternal feeling of love.

After all, it has always inspired composers, poets, performers to create true masterpieces. And on February 15, moving musical "Love Stories" will be performed in the main concert hall of the region – ​​fragments from ballets "Romeo and Juliet" by S. Prokofiev and "Swan Lake" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Elegy" by G. Offenbach, "Swan" from "Carnival of Animals" by Sen-Saens, "Asturia" by I.Albenis.

Solo on cello will be performed by Diana Havata, winner of international competitions. Conductor – Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchyk-Tsanko. The concert will be hosted by musicologist Natalia Pitsur. The beginning is at 18.30.
