More than half of Transcarpathian pensioners will receive January payments in December

The funding of January pensions will be held under a separate schedule with legislative changes taken into account – the head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Anastasia Pentek said during the press conference.

Considering the holidays and weekends in January 2016, the Cabinet instructed the Pension Fund to provide financing and payment of pensions in December.
"From 28 to 31 of December, January pensions will be paid to 52 per cent of Transcarpathian pensioners", – Anastasia Pentek said.

Thus, the pensioners of the region, who receive payments through post offices from 4 to 8 day of the month, will be able to receive January pensions by December 31.
Transcarpathians receiving payments through banking institutions from 4 to 23 day of the month will receive pensions on December 29.

Transcarpathians, who are paid pensions through post offices from 9 to 25 day of the month and through banking institutions from 24 to 25 day of the month, will receive pensions on that dates in January.

"Overall, about UAH 434 million will be allocated for payment of January pensions to Transcarpathians, of which UAH 235 million will be allocated in December", – Anasasia Pentek informed.
