More than 100,000 packs of cigarettes were found in the refrigerator truck at the checkpoint “Dyakovo”

As it was already reported, illegal export of tobacco products from Ukraine was prevented at the checkpoint “Dyakovo” of the Transcarpathian Customs.
At present, an in-depth inspection of the goods and dismantling of the trailer walls have been carried out and it has been established that the truck contained 106,000 packs of foreign-made cigarettes without excise stamps of Ukraine. 
Tobacco products were hidden both in the hollow spaces of the refrigerator truck and in the cargo area.
This offense is classified under Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the issue of drawing up a report on violation of customs rules is being decided, the Transcarpathian Customs of the State Customs Service reported.
