This year, the Hungarian cities of Miskolc, Debrecen, Budapest and Erd and Slovak Kosice had the opportunity to see the "Slice of contemporary art of Transcarpathia" – thanks to the eponymous project implemented with the support of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhgorod.
The goal is to present the nearest neighbors though not exhaustive, but currently the most representative collection of works by contemporary Transcarpathian artists. Those are artists of different generations and art associations and representing various types, genres, styles of art.
The project was being implemented from the beginning of the year until now – the final exhibition at the art complex "Kulturpark" in Kosice lasted from 10 to 25 of September. And now the collection of nearly 70 works by 30 authors is coming back home.
On Tuesday, September 27, the exhibition will be presented in the atrium of the RSA building. The inauguration with the participation of the organizers and artists and with live musical accompaniment will take place at 15.00, the department of culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
