The second festival of cheese "Milky River" will be held on June 10 in Uzhansky National Park in the village Stuzhitsa of Velikiy Berezny district – said Tourinform Transcarpathia.
As Тourinform reports, along with tasting various culinary and dairy products, guests will have the opportunity to participate in various recreational activities: sports, comic contests, exciting excursions on some local hiking trails, watching movies about the nature park. A celebratory concert program with participation of the best solo singers and amateur groups will create a unique festive atmosphere.
Also at the festival one will enjoy plenty of pancakes with quark, dumplings and pies with cheese, sweet cheese pancakes, gombovtsy with cheese, gnocchi with cheese, as well as a variety of snacks with spicy cheese, cheese cakes , sweets and so on.
The aim of the festival is to revive the production of dairy products, traditional highland dishes, the development of tourist and recreational areas in the region.
Official opening will take place on June 10, 2012, at 12 o’clock.
