The Ukrainian government does not want to let the migrant workers, who have returned home, go abroad – in the interests of the state.
This was stated by the Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in an interview with the RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, it is in the interests of the state to have such people start a business at home. After all, they have the professional and proper training.
Therefore, the Government is currently considering the creation of new jobs and favorable credit conditions for small and medium-sized businesses.
Previously, Transcarpathians would work abroad for decades. When the world suddenly closed its borders due to coronavirus, some workers returned home and others were left quarantined abroad – by accident or deliberately, at their own risk.
