Yesterday evening, a big concert to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross Border Cooperation Program took place on the territory of the Uzhgorod castle.
The opening of the "Melodies of the Border Regions" started with the greetings of Leszek Buller, the Director of the Center for European Projects. The Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod Oleksander Bilak also congratulated the organizers and participants of the Carpathian Fest.
The concert program was opened by guests from Poland – "St. Nicholas Orchestra", who presented the folk music of the neighboring country. These musicians prove that folklore, music from old villages can be interesting to modern listeners.
Transcarpathian band "Rock H" also performed on the stage.
The holiday ended with a fire show from the Fire Life Theater.
Recall that Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross Border Cooperation Program supports the development processes in the border regions of the mentioned countries by financing various projects.
It is worth noting that the celebration of this date coincided with the celebration of the International Day of Friends, which is symbolic for the good relations of the countries and hopes for further cooperation, – the Uzhgorod City Council reported.
