Medics engaged in coronavirus treatment will receive up to 300% bonuses

The bill No. 3275 supported by the Parliament sets additional payments to medical and other workers engaged in coronavirus countering efforts in amount of up to 300% of statutory bonuses 
This is stated in the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Natalukha’s column for the EP.
"Given the potential workload in combating the COVID-19 coronavirus, the government was obliged to set additional bonuses of up to 300% for medical and other workers engaged in coronavirus countering efforts," – he wrote.
Also, to ensure uninterrupted supply of the necessary medicines, the law exempts specialized drugs and medicines aimed at combating the coronavirus from VAT.
It sets zero excise duty and simplifies the administrative procedures for the production and procurement of alcohol for disinfectants.
