May 25 – Open tour “The archaeology of Uzhgorod” (Announcement)

Things to do in Uzhgorod on election day: come to the polling station, vote, and then go on tour!

According to the "Tourinform Transcarpathia", the next open tour in Uzhgorod will take place on May 25, on Sunday, entitled: "Archaeological finds in the city and suburbs."

Traditionally, the Uzhgorod tour will start from Teatrlana sq. (next to the sculpture of Mikolajczyk). The beginning is at 14:00.

The guide is an academic, professional archaeologist Igor Prokhnenko (Associate Professor of Ancient and Medieval History of UzhNU).

The specialist will tell the participants of the Uzhgorod tour interesting facts from history of the city, and new archaeological evidence.
