Lunchenko attracted Party of Regions members to determine the development strategy of Transcarpathia

Transcarpathian "Governor" and part-time MP Valeriy Lunchenko established a coordinating council to draft the Development Strategy of Transcarpathian region until 2020.

Lunchenko appointed himself as the chairman of the Council, and his former fellow party member from the "Batkivshchyna", the first Deputy Governor Andriy Serbaylo as the deputy chairman. The Secretary of the Coordinating Council, who will actually be engaged in the development of the Strategy, will be a member of the Party of Regions Yuriy Huzynets, the Director of Economic Development and Trade Department of the RSA.

The council also includes the head of Svalyava district organization of the Party of Regions, Polyana village head Ivan Drohobetsky. Also, the nominee of the Party of Regions in Uzhgorod mayor election in 2010 Volodymyr Prikhodko and the Mayor of Beregovo Zoltan Babiak, who was also nominated at the elections by the Party of Regions, will be members of the commission.

 Lunchenko instructed the Coordinating Council to form sectoral working groups to consider specific sections of the draft Development Strategy of Transcarpathian region until 2020.
