Local budgets of Transcarpathia have received over UAH 125.7 million of land payments

In 2015, owners and tenants of land in Transcarpathian region paid to the local budgets UAH 125 million 776 thousand. Almost UAH 100 million was paid by legal entities and more than UAH 26 million – by natural persons. The actual amount of the land tax revenues for 2015 exceed the revenues of 2014 by UAH 37 million 308 thousand.

The specialists of the SFS noted that the land tax and rent for use of land is one of the important sources of revenues to local treasures of the region, and the positive dynamics in the collection of the land tax, on the one hand, is the evidence of conscientious fulfillment of obligations by taxpayers in the region and, on the other hand, is a result of joint efforts with local authorities of the region for the legalization of land relations.

Recall that the land fee is a mandatory payment as part of property tax and includes two types of compulsory payments – land tax and rent. The former is paid by land owners and land users, the latter – by tenants of land, both natural and legal persons.
