Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod follows the example of Hungarians and from May 15 introduces mandatory online registration of visa application with reservation of the deadline for documents submission. Registration for the submission of documents will be performed on the consulate site www.mzv.sk/gkuzhorod. However Slovak consuls can accept applocations out of turn in case of emergency and urgent cases, but only subject to written justification.
Also at the consulate they set waiting days for preparation of:
Schengen visa – Monday – Friday from 09.00 to 12.00.
residence permits – Monday – Wednesday from 09.00 to 12.00.
foreign Slovak ID – Thursday from 09.00 to 12.00.
Local border traffic – Monday – Friday from 09.00 to 12.00.
