Winter can be not only cold and colorless, but also expressive and exciting, members of the youth association of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine believe.
On February 20, 2019, an exhibition "Winter 2019" was opened in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life.
More than 20 participants exhibited their works. Oleksiy Fedor, the head of the youth association, says: "Every year, at the end of winter, we show our fresh works, and this has become a good tradition. The works have a common theme and have been made during this winter. Each author could present what he or she thought fit and show the winter as he or she sees it."
The exhibition is quite versatile: among almost 40 works, in addition to classical oil painting, there are graphics, ceramics, ceramic panels.
"Our youth association is a very powerful and large team, – the head of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Borys Kuzma noted at the opening of the exhibition. – With their art, they begin to set trends, form traditions, views."
The exhibition will last for two weeks.
