Jozsef Szabo: There are people ready to take Uzhgorod “Goverla”, but Shufrich will not give it away

Expert Jozsef Szabo commented on the difficult financial situation in Uzhgorod "Goverla" to the KarpatPost.

– Well, have you heard the conditions, which the representatives of "Goverla" voiced at the meeting of the Certification Committee? "First, you give us the certificate, and then we will restructure our debts." Those are fairy tales for kindergarten. Only kids can believe their promises.

I am an honorary citizen of Uzhgorod and I am very worried about what they have done with the team of my homeland. I have been approached by people, who are ready to take this team and to maintain it properly, but Shufrich will not give it away.

Can you imagine that players of this team come to the matches on their own from their own homes? They eat at home, take a taxi or a bus and go to the stadium. Even amateur teams do not come to the games like that – Szabo said.

Recall the recently the CEO of the Uzhgorod team Ivan Shits said that Goverla was trying to pay all debts to its former players.
