Ivan Didyk and Ivanka Voitovich will present the joint exhibition of paintings and graphics

"Synthesis" is the title of the exhibition of works by two artists well-known in Transcarpathia and beyond: the father – the Honored Artist of Ukraine Ivan Didyk and daughter Ivanka Voitovich, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The attractiveness of this art event is in the intrigue about the both artists’ birthday: the exhibitors were born on May 31 with a difference of 25 years.

Ivan Didyk’s creative work is based on folk art and traditions, ceramics, wooden plastics of architectural fragments, iconostases, and the search for contemporary pictorial phrases. The artist works in the techniques of graphics, pastels, painting on glass. 

Biography: Ivan Didyk was born on May 31, 1951 in the village of Kostryno in Velyky Berezny district. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993 Graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1975). Honored Artist of Ukraine, teacher, teacher-methodologist of Transcarpathian Academy of Arts.

Ivanka Voitovich (Didyk) was born on May 31, 1976. Painter. Graduated from the Lviv Academy of Arts. Lives and works in Lviv. Her favorite genre is still life.      

The father and daughter are active exhibitors in Ukraine and abroad.

The opening of the "Synthesis" in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum will take place on November 17 at 16.00.
