It’s clean and safe in the parks of Bucharest

The number of people who have been bitten by ticks is dramatically increasing. Scientists explain this phenomenon by the negative consequences of global warming. That is why, according to the Romanian editions, in all 21 parks of the capital (Bucharest) pest control has been conducted under the auspices of the main City Hall.

Ticks are especially dangerous because they can transmit serious diseases, such as Lyme disease.

As it gets warmer the number of those seeking to relax on a picnic is greatly increasing. Doctors advise not to wear thin clothes in wet forests. In addition, it would be better to avoid walking in the areas, where there are a lot of shrubs and trees, because that’s where ticks may live in colonies.
Pay attention to the children! They are at most risk in playgrounds and do not experience pain when they are bitten because ticks produce anesthetics, which prevents a person from feeling a bite.

There are a lot of these insects in gardens, parks, sports fields, where they can get on pets.
Adult ticks can be easily seen and should be removed immediately, and the pupa looks like a black dot.
