Today, February 9, the sign "Small Stage" was set up on the facade of Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater in Uzhgorod. It was, so to speak, its identification, since it was opened in the theater back in 2016. Its devoted fans already know where the entrance to the "small stage" is (not from the embankment, but from L. Tolstoy street), however, occasional visitors have often had to look for it.

The initiative was taken by the actors and directors themselves. Yesterday, the signboard was made and painted, and today it was solemnly unveiled. And it is very good, because the "small stage" has been very active recently. More people want to see the performances, where the number of seats is limited and tickets are sold out days before the shows. For example, on February 10 and 20, at the request of the audience, they will once again show the tragicomedy based on Karl Wittlinger’s play "Do you know the Milky Way?" "Better stay dead."

So far, there are three productions in the repertoire of the "small stage" – in addition to the aforementioned one, there is the French tragicomedy "Steep turns" by modern author Eric Assou and Leo E. Mann’s "The Heir". The director of all three is Honored Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Fischenko, stage design by Vira Stepchuk. Honored Artist of Ukraine Stepan Barabash, Oleksandr Mavrits, Rudolf and Olesya Dzurynets, Zhanna Baranovich, Monika Palfi, Darya Gorshkova, Roman Zhogin, Dmytro Snyozyk, Mykola Slovyanyn star in the said productions.

At the moment, they are working on the fourth production, but keep its title in a secret.
