The National Commission on the State Regulation of Communications and Information approved the government’s bill ‘On creation of the Fund’s of publicly available telecommunications services’.
As the member of the commission Igor Syrotenko said that the document provides establishment of a new tax on the cost of all telecommunication services in the amount of 3.5%. The funds received as a result, will be directed in particular on the development of telecommunication and the Internet in the villages.
Syrotenko reassures that innovation will not affect the price of mobile services, but other services become more expensive: Internet access, cable television and fixed communications.
