The prospect of a visit of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to Transcarpathia in the coming days is being actively discussed in journalists and public circles, in particular in social networks. There were two possible dates – July 17 and 20. Although this news seemed doubtful because of the very recent visit of the Guarantor to the region, when he opened the visa-free regime with Europe, it was said that Poroshenko had not completed the planned program and had several reasons to visit Transcarpathia. This is currently a rumor. And for sure, there will be no visit of the President to Transcarpathian region on July 17th. Because from the 17th to the 19th of July, Petro Poroshenko will be on an official visit to Georgia.
The President of Ukraine and the President of Georgia will take part the investment round table in the city of Batumi. This is informed by the site of the President of Ukraine.
But whether Poroshenko will come to the westernmost region of the country after that is an open question. In short, Transcarpathia is waiting for news and changes…
