A number of current social issues was included to the agenda of the meeting at the regional council with the participation of district councils chairmen and mayors. One of them is the issue of illegal institutions providing services in the field of gambling.
In 2011 – 2012, Regional Council’s proposed municipal and district councils to create a committee to monitor the implementation of the law banning gambling.
Today gambling facilities have mostly changed signs and continue to work, corrupting primarily our youth. Therefore, the chairman of the regional council urged to study the situation on the ground and submit to the regional board a real picture of the situation. To engage all law enforcement and regulatory bodies to deal with this scourge. "Gambling in Ukraine should be eliminated" – such is a firm opinion of the regional council chairman.
