The well-known Transcarpathian climber wrote on her Facebook page about the plans to conquer the Damavand peak.
She said that the climb would take place on June 20 and asked not to worry about her, because the mountain is not difficult.
"It is perfect for your first climb, because there are no difficult sections there. Yes, the height is quite big, 5600, but if you start to train your body, there will be no problems," – Iryna Halay said in the recorded video.
