Autumn is an extremely bright, incredibly beautiful time of year, especially in the Carpathians. This year, nature gave us a couple of weeks of a real Indian summer. But it is also slowly passing away.
To capture the last days of this wonderful season, over the past two weeks, journalist Kostyantin Cherkay visited several picturesque corners of Tyachiv district. We suggest taking a look at some of the photos from these trips. You will no doubt recognize many landscapes. However, even familiar places change almost every minute in autumn.
One sad note of the trip was seeing the mass burning of dry leaves mixed with debris by residents of the Transcarpathian villages. At times, it was impossible to find a perspective where no trunk of thick poisonous smoke is in the shot. Fortunately, the photos do not convey the stench that just soaked up the space in many places of the Carpathians.
