Laying flowers to the monument of soldiers, march on the streets of the city, hopak and exhibition of weapons – the Day of the Defender of Ukraine was celebrated in Uzhgorod

The celebrations began at the Hill of Glory – there, they honored the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war in the east of the country and laid flowers to the Eternal Flame. Next, accompanied by the National Police Orchestra, the procession marched to Narodna Square, where the exhibition of weapons and military equipment was already taking place.  The celebration continued with a small concert and hopak.
