Slovak Bardeyov is the city of medieval gothic
Bardeyov is a small but very famous city. It is located on the north of Slovakia, near the Polish border. There are always a lot of tourists, whom attracts rumor about an extremely beautiful, like a toys, houses in the historic center of Bardeyov.
This town has gone through the fires, epidemics and devastations, however after the Second World War, its historical monuments began to revive. And it was made so well that in 1986 UNESCO awarded the municipality for restoration of historical monuments by the European Prize, and then the center of Bardeyov was listed as a World Cultural Heritage.
The most famous buildings of this Slovak city are the Cathedral of Sacred Ehidiy that was built in the XIII century and the Gothic Old City Hall of the XVI century which is located in the center of the main square of Bardeyov. Old stone walls quite well preserved around the entire historic city center. They were also subjected to serious reconstruction, and this is particularly visible in those places where the special particle of the old laying left. The old entrance to the city with a large gate and bridge was also preserved.
Действительно этот городок стоит того, чтоб его посетить. Отдельно хочу обратить внимание на здание на шестом снимке, на котором видны солнечные часы и дата постройки 1538 год. На табличке также указано, что в 1577 году там начала работать типография.
