In Uzhgorod, everyone wanted to take a piece of Kryvolap

Exhibition halls of the Art Museum today were crowded.

It’s not every day that you can see paintings of an artist who is considered not only one of today’s best, but also the most high-priced in Ukraine. And not only paintings, but also Anatoly Kryvolap himself, who, however, admitted that he had almost become a Transcarpathian artist – he spends about a third of the year in our region.

The opening of the exhibition was surprisingly brief – no long speeches of officials, nor diplomas. After brief greetings from the museum director Francisk Erfan, Anatoly Kryvolap and Volodymyr Mykyta, guests were invited to have champagne and see the exhibition.

I should add that I had never seen so many selfies against the background of paintings and photos of paintings at any exhibition in the Transcarpathian Art Museum…
