The Open Cup of Uzhgorod "VELO-LIDER" among children and youth, which took place on September 30, 2017 in the Bozdosh Park, brought together almost seventy children from Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and V. Berezny.
Uzhgorod was represented by the team LIDER with 5 participants ("Lider" bike club) and FORSAZH – all representatives of the school No. 19 (10 participants). And, of course, the team of Mukachevo made of the representatives of the bike school "Lider-Mukachevo" (9 people). Other participants were competing mostly in singles.
The team "Lider" (Uzhgorod) celebrated victory followed by the teams "Lider-Mukachevo" (Mukachevo) and "Forsazh" (Uzhgorod).
As announced, there was a bicycle-themed drawing contest, and seven children, whose works were recognized the best, were awarded with prizes.
The organizers of the bicycle race – the cycling club "LIDER" with the support of the City Council and sponsors – awarded the fastest and most skillful bikers with medals, certificates and thematic gifts that will be useful to those who prefer two-wheeled transport.
