In the evening in Uzhgorod at the intersection of Gagarin-Krasnodontsiv a car hit a cyclist. The driver fled from the scene. The victim, a 26-year resident of the village of Kinchesh in Uzhgorod district was delivered to the city hospital. His condition is serious, he is in the intensive care.
The police have already identified the car that crippled the cyclist – it is "Volkswagen Golf" from Uzhgorod owned by a female resident of the regional center.
The car itself was found on the street with typical signs of accident damage and was placed on the police impound lot. Now they are establishing who exactly was driving the car and hit a cyclist – informed the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
