Yesterday in the morning, a retired police officer diagnosed with non-penetrating incised wound of the anterior abdominal wall was delivered to Uzhgorod Central City Hospital.
The investigative team found out that around 08.10, the man was moving on Borodin street in his car "Volkswagen-Caddy," where an unknown male person was walking on the roadway towards him. He stopped, got out of the car and made a remark to him, then the unknown person stabbed him with a knife in the abdomen.
Law enforcement officers found out that the offense had been committed by a 33-year-old citizen of Georgia, a resident of Uzhgorod, who lives in a multistory building on Zankovetska street. No pre-trial restraint was imposed on the attacker.
