Yesterday evening, October 2, the Parliament established fines for concealing the receipt of foreign citizenship.
It is became known, the law on amendments to certain laws was voted by 264 deputies.
Specifically, the law provides that failure to submit or untimely submission of application by citizen who voluntarily obtained foreign citizenship (nationality) entails a fine of ten to thirty times the minimum income.
This same acts committed by officials of state or local government, entail fine of fifty to one hundred times the minimum income.
The document also states that a person who committed a crime against humanity or genocide can not receive the citizenship of Ukraine. In addition, persons convicted of committing grave or especially grave crime can not receive the passport of the citizen of Ukraine.
