In Tyachiv district, a man shot himself

At night, at 00.50, a doctor of Tyachiv District Hospital reported that an ambulance had brought to the casualty department a 34-year-old unemployed resident of the village of Uhlya diagnosed with a gunshot wound of the lower third of the left tibia, bruises of the right ankle joint.

The investigative team found out that around 20.30, the man, while being in the yard of his house, holding a gun "IZH-18", had shot himself in the leg as a result of careless handling of it.

At the scene of the incident, the police found the gun with the sleeve in the barrel and 5 cartridges of 32 mm caliber without marking. According to the database, this gun is not registered.
