In Transcarpathia, they determined who will be responsible for rise in bread prices

In Transcarpathia, they decided to form a stock of grain for the winter. Last week, at the regional administration they instructed the heads of district administrations to determine a list of businesses that will be used for storage of food grains. Also, the district heads were instructed to conclude agreements with bakeries that would ensure the supply of flour and bread in a particular district. By the first of September, in Transcarpathia there should be formed the regional grain reserves – a total of 30 thousand tons. The largest stock is to be formed in Uzhgorod district – 4.4 thousand tons, the least one – in Volovets district – 600 tons.

Also, regional officials recommend banks to open credit lines to flour mills for procurement of food grains and conducting operational payments to its owners. Heads of district administrations have been vested with personal responsibility for the continuous supply of bread until the harvest in 2014 and for reasonableness of prices.
