Safe migration for foreigners with a visa-free entry procedure allows to stay in Ukraine for no more than 90 out of 180 days from the date of first entry into Ukraine. One of the documents that allows foreign nationals to stay in our country for longer periods is a temporary residence permit. Since last year, the migration service has been issuing this permit in the form of a card containing a contactless electronic medium (chip). All personal information is entered into the Unified State Demographic Register.
Documents for extention or exchange of a permit shall be submitted not later than 15 working days before the expiry date or the established period of stay / residence in Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the year, 707 foreigners have received biometric temporary residence permits, including 231 due to education, 277 due to family reunification and 83 due to employment.
In total, there are 2597 registered migrants with temporary residence permits, the press service of the Transcarpathian Migration Service informs.
