In Transcarpathia, a “Mercedes” ran over a woman

On the road near the village of Rokosovo in Khust District, a minibus "Mercedes Sprinter" hit a 47-year-old woman. The victim died at the scene.

Khust police received a report that a minibus "Mercedes" had hit a woman. The investigative team was sent to the scene.

As the police found out, around 4.30 am, a 45-year-old resident of Khust district, driving a car "Mercedes Sprinter", moving from the city of Khust toward the village of Rokosovo, hit a woman who was on the roadway. The victim died from her injuries.

The victim was a 47-year-old resident of Irshava district, who had been leading homeless lifestyle and was being searched for.

The investigation overt the fatal accident has been initiated. The "Mercedes" was taken to the police impound lot. The examination showed that the driver was sober.
