In Transcarpathia, a female driver caused an accident, in which her 4-year-old son was injured

Fortunately, the boy suffered only minor injuries. His mother, who was driving the car and caused the accident, categorically refused to be tested for the state of intoxication.

In the evening on October 1, Rakhiv city police was reported about an accident with victims that had occurred near an ABC store in the village of V.Bychkiv in Rakhiv district. The investigative team arrived at the scene.

As the police found out, the accident was caused by a 37-year-old resident of Bychkiv. While driving a car VAZ-2101, she drove to the main road and did not make way to an oncoming car. Her car collided with a car "Volkswagen Passat" which was driven by a 49-year-old resident of Tyachiv district.

Due to the accident, four-year-old son of the female driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Rakhiv hospital. Doctors diagnosed the boy with concussion and discharged him after the medical examination.

The examination showed that the driver of the "Volkswagen" was sober. Instead, the female driver flatly refused to have her blood sample taken to be tested for the state of intoxication…

The police has started investigation over the violation of the traffic rules. Both cars were taken to the police impound lot.
