In tourist direction signs will be installed in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Soon, tourist direction signs will be installed on major highways of the region. Thus, the department of housing and communal services, construction and infrastructure of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration began implementing measures to ensure information support of historical and cultural heritage objects included in regional and national network of tourist itineraries. 

So, during the first stage, the following direction signs on a brown background showing direction to the tourist sites of the region will be installed:

– On the road M – 08, bypass road Uzhgorod – checkpoint "Uzhgorod" that will indicate the direction and distance to the Uzhgorod Castle and the Nevitsky Castle;

– On the road M – 06, Kyiv – Chop that will indicate the direction and distance to the Mukachevo castle, the "St. Miklos" castle and the castle of the Schönborn Counts;

– On the road H – 09, Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Ivano-Frankivsk – Rohatyn – Lviv and P – 21 Dolyna – Khust, the "direction sign" will indicate the direction and distance to the CBR "Valley of Daffodils" and the national park "Synevyr."

               By the end of May, signs must be approved by the traffic police and the Road Service. Already in June, signs will be installed on the roads of Transcarpathia.
