In the morning, 2 cars were burning in Uzhgorod, the police classify it as an arson

Police officers are determining the circumstances of the burning of two cars owned by relatives in the city of Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district.

Today, July 18, in the morning, the police received two reports of burning vehicles in Uzhgorod on Chereshneva Street and in the village of Mynai in Uzhgorod district. Investigation teams of the Uzhgorod police departments arrived at the scene.

In the regional center of Transcarpathia, a car "BMW 520" burned down, it was found out that the fire had spread from the engine compartment. In the village of Mynai, a "Skoda Superb" was burning. The owners of the vehicles are close relatives.

Investigators, operatives, cynologists and forensics are working on the site. Preliminary legal classification in both cases is Part 2 of Art. 194 of the CCU, ie deliberate destruction or damage to property by explosion or arson. This offense is punishable by imprisonment for three to fifteen years. The police are determining all the circumstances of these incidents.
