One such branch fell down right in front of multiple witnesses, the Prozak.info reported. Miraculously, nobody was hurt.

The branch is still lying on the sidewalk, blocking the way.

Such incidents happen in the park regularly, especially in the spring. Rotten branches easily break off due to gusts of wind.

The utility company will not replace old and dangerous chestnuts with other trees, so the risk of injury remains high.
