In Rakhiv, a man tried to beat the judge in the courtroom

Yesterday, the head of Rakhiv District Court Victor Yemchuk appealed to Rakhiv district prosecutor’s office. He said that in the courtroom of Rakhiv district court, during the trial on the case under Part I of Art.125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional minor bodily injury), a 53-year-old unemployed men from the village of Dilove, in the presence of the court session participants, had attempted to use physical violence, threatened the presiding judge with physical harm and promised to destroy the property of the court. The offender was arrested in the courtroom and put in a temporary holding facility of Rakhiv district police.
