The doctor on duty reported to Perechyn police department about a male lying motionless on the roadway of the main road in the village of Dubrynychi near the village community center. Apparently, that person became a victim of a traffic accident.
The police department chief Victor Rebrey, his deputies and the investigative team immediately left at the scene.
At the specified section of the road, the ploicemen found the body of a man with no obvious signs of life. Near the deceased, the police found a piece of gray lamp and remnants of glass from a car turn signal. Law enforcement officers immediately began to take measures to establish the location of the vehicle and the person who could have committed the hit.
Within a short time, traffic inspectors together with detectives and police inspectors found the car that could have been involved in the road accident and the driver, who was driving that vehicle. Also, the dead man was identified. It was a 30-year-old resident of the village of Dubrynichi.
The Chief of Perechyn police department Victor Rebrey reported that this incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations with the preliminary legal qualification – Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of traffic safety and operation of transport by the person driving the vehicle that caused death of the victim or caused serious bodily injury." Currently, investigative actions are being carried out.
