In Mukachevo, unknown men robbed and beat an 80-year-old woman

Today, at about 9 am, a crew of Mukachevo patrol police received a report that on Marko Vovchok street, unknown persons had inflicted injuries to an elderly woman. The policemen found the victim at the scene. The 80-year-old woman reported that last night two strangers had broken into her house, hit her in the face and fled in an unknown direction after taking the money. After reviewing the video from surveillance cameras, patrol policemen found out how the attackers looked like. The policemen managed to establish the wherebouts of one of them. The victim recognized the 28-year-old resident of Mukachevo. The man was invited to Mukachevo Police Department since his actions contain elements of a criminal offense – robbery. Currently, they are taking measures to identify the second person involved in the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
