4 million 570 thousand hryvnias is proposed to be allocated in Mukachevo over the next three years for the implementation of the program of physical culture and sports development. It is suggested to increase as of January 1 the monthly scholarship for the best athletes and trainers from 500 to 1000 hryvnias. In general, the scholarship will be awarded to 15 trainers and the same number of athletes. Under the program, city sports competitions among schools, open tournaments, championships, cups of regional, national and international levels for various sports among different age groups and among disabled athletes will be held in Mukachevo.
The city will also be financing the preparation and participation of the city athletes of different age groups (teams) in sports events of the regional and national level for the Olympic and non-Olympic sports.
Funds will also be allocate for the purchase of sports equipment for general and secondary education institutions of the city.
