In Mukachevo, anti-pockets are to be arranged for safety of pedestrians (PHOTOS)

For pedestrian safety: anti-pockets will be set up in Mukachevo  
Safe zones for pedestrians at overland pedestrian crossings – anti-pockets will be set up in Mukachevo. At the first stage, they will be set up in three locations. Two of them are at the stops for tourist buses near the Mukachevo State University and on Ilona Zrinyi Street, near the Secondary School No. 4. Anti-pockets will also be installed on Uzhgorodska Street. Also they plans to set up anti-pockets on Pushkin Street, near the school, on Masaryk, Dukhnovych streets and Myr street (near the tank). 
Anti-pocket is an infrastructural solution that makes pedestrians more visible on the road, because they are not obscured by parked cars.
It is basically an extended section of the sidewalk, which makes it impossible to park at the intersection and at the crosswalk and reduces the time pedestrians spend on the crosswalk.
