In Mukachevo, a car driven by an elderly man hit a child at a crosswalk

The accident happened in Mukachevo on Danylo Halytsky Street 

 The police received a report of an accident with victims at three o’clock yesterday.

The patrol policemen arrived at the scene and found that the driver of a car Daewoo ran over a 10-year-old girl who was crossing the road at the crosswalk. 

The girl with polytrauma was hospitalized at the regional children’s hospital in Mukachevo. 

The police took the driver’s blood for alcohol test: the driver was sober.

It is known that the driver is 78 years old, so he could just react poorly to the traffic situation.
