In Lutsk, an apartment was seized for 10,000 UAH debt. The first bell?

Sad news for Ukrainian debtors for utilities came from Lutsk: the city council sold the apartment, the owners of which had debts for utilities, the karpatnews.in writes citing the Domik.ua. Local authorities warn: those, who accumulate debt in excess of 10,000 UAH, will face the same. Although this is the first recorded case and it took place in Lutsk, Transcarpathian debtors for utilities should think about it, because eventually the same fate may befall them as well. The talks that debtors face not just fines, but confiscation of property, have been circulating for a long time. The first bell has rung in Lutsk. The Enforcement Service of Lutsk city council has successfully conducted the first auction – the debtors’ apartment was sold, and after the finalization of of legal matters, the residents will be evicted from it.
