Yesterday, December 24, Irshava District Hunting and Fishing Society reported to the police that in the "Chornyi" tract in the village of Pidhirne, an unknown citizen had shot a roe and fled. The investigative team at the scene found out that a 31-year-old local resident was involved in the offense. He shot a roe aged about 1 year with a rifle registered for his name. The rifle was seized from the suspect and sent for examination. The choice of a preventive measure is being decided.
The man will be charged with a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 248 of the CCU, that is, illegal hunting. Such an offense is punishable by a fine of up to one hundred tax-free minimum incomes, or restraint of liberty for a term of up to three years, with the confiscation of weapons and means of hunting and all the catch.
