The Tax Police revealed the theft of public funds in the amount of 160,000 UAH.
Officials of one of the institutions in Beregovo district, by applying arbitrarily and unreasonably inflated insurance rates, entered into contracts for property insurance at the expense of the state budget. Thus they embezzled 159,827 UAH. It was estabished while conducting measures for combating theft of public funds.
The Financial Investigation Department of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region registered this fact in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation under Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, the pre-trial investigation continues.
