In Beregovo, an Internet cafe was robbed

An unknown attacker inflicted injuries to the operator of the establishment and took over the cash. The robber is wanted by the police. 

At dawn, a district hospital doctor reported to Beregovo police department that they had admitted a 37-year resident of the city with an open brain injury.

The district police operator immediately sent the operative-investigative group to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The victim is the operator of an Internet café located in the center of Beregovo. In the morning, an unknown attacker came into the establishment, inflicted the operator three blows on the head with an unidentified object, then openly seized cash and two mobile phones and disappeared in an unknown direction.

As a result of the robbery, the victim suffered serious injuries in the form of open craniocerebral injury.

Officers of Beregovo police department, in particular the Criminal Investigation sector, are conducting search operations to establish and detain the robber.

The investigators registered this incident in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations on the grounds of crime under part 4 of Art.187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Robbery). The attacker may be punished by imprisonment for a term of eight to fifteen years with confiscation of property – Vitaly Mikhailov, Beregovo District Police reported.
