Igor Strichyk: We are open to dialogue and expect for specific facts and suggestions

Yesterday, April 15, there was the meeting between Igor Strichyk, the Head of the Chop customs and the subjects of foreign economic activity in the region. The event was also attended by Victor Ivanus – the Acting First Deputy Head of the Chop customs, Natalia Pohribna – the head of the customs value, goods classification and foreign economic activity control measures department, as well as the head of the customs post "Uzhgorod-cargo" – Mykola Botosh.

– Strategic initiative of the Chop customs today is maximum transparency – with these words Igor Strichyk opened the meeting, addressing to business representatives.

Victor Ivanus told about the current situation in the customs office, budget revenues, changes in personnel and anti-corruption measures. In particular, he noted that the task that is put before them for the coming months is the elimination of all system corruption schemes.

Entrepreneurs asked about the Public Council, the situation about authorized economic operators, as well as expressed their views on the customs clearance, in particular real prices and the fight against the so-called tax pits. Also, they gave a positive assessment of the work of electronic customs declaration service, which has performed well and proved its effectiveness.

Finally Igor Strichyk, invited all those present to hold such meetings once or twice a week, and added: "We are open to dialogue and expect for specific facts and suggestions. We can solve in a legal way every problem that you are concerned about and that is related to the customs work, but it takes our common will and constructive actions."
